Cheeze Sauce
Ingredients
1 cup nutritional yeast flakes
1/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour
2 T arrowroot powder or corn starch
1 t salt
2 cups water
2 t oil
2 t mustard
Method
Mix the dry ingredients and whisk in the water. Mix well to remove the lumps. Cook in a double boiler, stirring often, until it begins to thicken. Remove from the heat and stir in the oil and mustard. The sauce will thicken as it cooks. More water may be added to make a thinner sauce.
Makes 3 cups.
